In December 2022 Northern Lighthouse participated in Sacrificio, a multidisciplinary project by Patrizia Santangeli that includes an audiovisual installation and a podcast series collecting stories of violence against women. He created a soundtrack using eurorack modules. The installation has been exhibited in Rome at the Altro@Sud Gallery. This project is also raising funds to support the NGO Donna e Politiche Familiari's self-esteem courses for women who were victims of violence.

La Strada Invisibile 

2022 marked the centenary of the birth of Italian filmmaker, writer and intellectual Pier Paolo Pasolini. In August 2022 Northern Lighthouse created music for a project called La Strada Invisibile (the Invisible Road) by Patrizia Santangeli and Francesca De Spirito in collaboration with the Appia Antica Park in Rome. The project combined the history of the long Appian Road, built by the ancient Romans with the atmosphere of ”Mamma Roma” and ”Uccellacci and Uccellini”, the two films by Pasolini shot in the same park. Behind-the-scenes photos and images from the films were selected. Northern Lighthouse composed one track per image inspired by the landscape which changed over the centuries. The songs were performed live in Rome on 14 October 2022 with the actress Stefania Bogo and have been featured in a podcast series as part of the same project.
